Description

Product Overview

Probably the most horsepower gain per dollar spent you are going to get!

  • Gain of around 5 HP at 14 to 15 degrees total advance
  • Easy to install; does not require removing or loosening the drive pulley
  • Easy to adjust timing:
    • Timing adjusting screw controls the position of the sensor pivot bolt; this allows precision adjustment of timing
    • Sensor pivot bolt is non-rotating allowing tightening of the sensor lock nut from one side
  • Bracket allows the adjustment of ignition timing from -2 to + 6 degrees
  • Bolts to the engine with no engine modifications; the existing sensor does require trimming the plastic mount
  • Machined from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum
  • Kit comes complete with all hardware
  • Made in the USA

The Mazda Miata cars have always responded well to minor ignition timing changes.

The spunky nature of the Miata and its "eager to run" characteristic is perhaps their most endearing quality.

That "endearing quality" can be noticeably improved with three to five degrees more ignition timing advance. Typical results are a good dose of throttle response, a couple more ponies, and even another mile or two per gallon.

A stock NB series engine will not permit timing changes.

The MaxG Timing Bracket will allow the timing to be easily adjusted.
